Greg Davenport shot, edited and set to music this video of Lower Columbia Canoe Club members running Dee to Tucker on the Hood River in Oregon on February 20, 2011. Level was around 1100 cfs. This year Mary Ann Jordens took us to the Lewis River and once again provided good weather. The rains didn’t come until we left the river. Sorry, no pictures of the delicious cookies she brought. You would have had to have been there. Put it on your calendar for next year?

I’ve been wanting to do a video of canoeing the John Day for a while now, but had so much material it was hard to weed through it all. I finally did and produced a video that isn’t about one particular trip, but more of a homage to the river.
This video shows a lot of the sweep boat, Bill Jordens and Alan Douglass, who are warming up for the Grand Canyon.
